The New City of Jerusalem is more than 150 years. It began to develop from 1860 when the Ottoman Turks, began allowing the European countries to purchase property to build churches in Jerusalem. Many new churches were built inside the walls of Jerusalem, Such as the German Church of the Redeemer, but mostly churches were built outside the walls, which became known as the New City. Jews and Moslems followed the trend and also built neighborhoods in the New City.

Here you will find descriptions of tours with Leon Gork to both the Old and New parts of Jerusalm, as well as visits to both Jewish and Christian sites.
