Today I took the 115 bus to Modiin from the stop at the intersection of Bar Ilan and Samuel the Prophet strs in the suburb of Sanhedriya, so called because tombs of the ancient Jewish Government are located here in a beautiful garden, see pictures in the Jan/Feb picture diary, My granddaughter, Tamar and my grandson Eitan live in Modiin, a new town between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, with their parents, my son Emanuel and my daughter in law Sigalit. Today I took Tamar to see Annie, a modern version of the old, sad story of an orphan girl, always optimistic of finding her parents and always singing. One day she's adopted by a fabulously wealthy man, whose life is changed from being a tough bussiness man into a kind, loving father. The movie is full of beautiful music and dancing with some really cute scenes, like the scene in the foster home with a wicked foster mother. A very enjoyable movie all round.
